Vegetables go straight into home cooking. No processing, no masking. If there’s pesticide residue, this is where it matters most. Even switching partially could be a responsible step, especially with kids at home.

I won’t buy everything organic, but leafy vegetables feel like a good start. Small change, limited risk. If it strains the budget later, I can always step back.
