Dal is eaten every day. If chemicals are entering food, this is where they quietly enter the body. Spending a little more on daily staples sounds logical, especially as age catches up and digestion isn’t what it used to be.

I’ve trusted this shopkeeper for twenty years. He knows my family and my habits. A fancy packet doesn’t automatically mean better dal. I’ll stick to what works — maybe rethink if prices come closer.
