Mulching by - Dry Leafy Material/s as Cushion :In densely vegetative areas the pit is covered by dry leaves to protect it from heat stress. Per Tree cost - INR 5.00 to 10.00. (If not incurred then assign Zero cost)

Hand Tools - Shovels, Buckets, Diggers etc :Every Tree Plantation Project needs some hand tools that are like consumables. Total minimum costs are about INR 2000.00 for 500 Tree Project it can be allocated at 5.00 Per Tree

Watering Cans & Hose Pipes :Every Tree Plantation Site needs some watering cans and hose pipes. At lest INR 3000.00 per site is required. For 500 tree project for each tree it works out to INR 6.00 per Tree

Land Preparation - Removal of Debris - Waste Materials from PIt Site/s:Some sites have many kinds of debris / boulders / rubbish etc that needs removal. Applying same logic on per tree basis it can go up to INR 20.00 (If not paid separately then assign Zero cost)
2.3 Land Preparation - Pathways For Movement of Man & Materials 10.00
Land Preparation - Pathways For Movement of Man & Materials :If sites are not easily accessible for man and transport then Pathways are created. Cost can go up to INR 20.00 per tree basis for 500 Tree Project (If not required assign Zero Cost)
2.4 Innovative Pit Digging Technology in Grid Form 50.00
Innovative Pit Digging Technology in Grid Form:Keeping difficult conditions in mind We are recommending 9 drill holes - each of 6 inch dia as a grid in 3 x 3 feet Square. For per tree it can vary from INR 45.00 to 55.00 per pit/tree cost is incurred
2.5 Material Preparation by Mixing Soil, Amendments, Manure, Pesticides etc 15.00
Material Preparation by Mixing Soil, Amendments, Manure, Pesticides etc:All the materials are required to be mixed in pre-determined proportion to be carried to the pit site. Per Tree it can be from INR 10.00 to 20.00.
2.6 Tree Sapling Transport - Shifting to Pit Site on the day of planting 15.00
Tree Sapling Transport - Shifting to Pit Site on the day of planting :Mostly done by labor. For per Tree it can vary from INR 10.00 to 20.00.
2.7 Planting /Transferring Sapling from bag to Soil 25.00
Planting /Transferring Sapling from bag to Soil:Skilled worker is needs. For one tree it can vary from INR 20.00 to 30.00. Tree is planted in Centre Hole and other 8 holes are filled with potting mixture.
2.8 Pit / Water Basin Formation 10.00
Pit / Water Basin Formation:Water Basin Formation. Extremely important to hold water. For per Tree it can vary from INR 10.00 to 20.00.
2.9 Watering Before Planting 10.00
Watering Before Planting:In extreme hot / dry climate it is advisable to fill the pit with water to improve the survival. In Mining Areas for per Tree it can vary from INR 7.00 to 15.00.
2.10 Watering during Planting 10.00
Watering during Planting:Needs to fill all soil pores so that air movement is restricted. For per Tree it can vary from INR 7.00 to 15.00.
2.11 Watering after Planting 30.00
Follow Up watering after Planting:Immediately post planting at least 2-3 watering should be included in the plantation task itself. For per Tree it can vary from INR 20.00 to 40.00.
2.12 Protection and Tree Guard Fixing 30.00
Protection & Tree Guard Fixing:In individually planted tree sites and in public places where chances of damage by grazing animals is there then tree guards are required. This is done along with transplanting the tree sapling. It also includes the transport of tree guard to each pit. For per Tree it can vary from INR 30.00 to 50.00. Weeding Operations By Manual / Weeding Machine:Low cost petrol operated machine can do about 50 to 100 plants per day. Can cost total INR 20.00 to 40.00 per tree per weeding. 3 Repeats are required till Tree Establishment
3.3 Regular Fertilizer and Manuring - Soil Applications 30.00
Regular Fertilizer and Manuring - Soil Applications :As per Expert advice at least 3 Manure Applications are made till establishment of Trees. Each application costs about Rs 10.00 so total INR 30.00 to 40.00 per tree is incurred
3.4 Foliar Fertilizer Application 20.00
Foliar Fertilizer Application :Following the expert advice, 3-5 foliar fertilizer applications are made. Each costs INR 5.00 per Tree Total 20 per tree is budgeted

Pest Control -Soil Application:As per Expert advice, 2-3 Applications are made Each can cost INR 5.00 and Total INR 15.00 is budgeted.

Pest Control - Foliar Application:As per Expert advice 2-3 Applications are required. each costs INR 5.00 total INR 15.00 is budgeted.
3.7 Intercultural Operation for Soil Loosening 20.00
Intercultural Operation for Soil Loosening :To be done by hand held power machine. Can cost total INR 10.00 to 15.00 per application. In alll 2-3 applications are required.
3.8 Trimming and Pruning 20.00
Trimming and Pruning:as per Expert advice about 2 times trimming and Pruning is required. Each costs about INR 10.00
3.9 Replacement Planting 30.00
Replacement Planting :About 30 Percent tree saplings are required to be replaced during Post Planting care Period. On per tree basis it works about to INR 30..00
