Indians loves its chocolate from Cadbury to artisanal bars. While its journey from the Americas to Europe was epic, Early attempts at plantations were limited, and it wasn't until the mid-1960s, when giants like Cadbury began serious cultivation efforts, that cacao really started to take root in South India (especially Kerala and Tamil Nadu). So, that everyday chocolate bar is a relatively new kid on the block compared to our ancient spices and sweets!
